Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actor, is well-known for her roles in film and television in the latter half of the 1980s. She has received various honors, such as the Golden Globe Award as well as sixteen NAACP Image Awards. She has been recognized for her TV and film work since the 1980s. The awards she has won include the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett born in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt after being born at New York New York, is well-known as an actor. Bassett moved with her sister to St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order to be near their mother as she was divorced from their father. Bassett was in high school when saw the James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck play Of Mice and Men and knew that her dream of becoming an actor had been born. She attended Yale University New Haven Connecticut and graduated with a bachelor's degree (1980) on African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they tied the knot. Qualification: B.A. at Yale's School of Drama. granted an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in 1980. She attended the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades and Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the major roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
